Anyone found non compliant to this rule, or where the names are suspicious, may have their membership request rejected, and deleted. If you are found subsequently to have provided false information your account may be deleted immediately You agree that when you register you will provide your Location = Country (not just city or town), if this is not supplied your application for membership will be rejected and deleted. We are requiring this information only as an assistance in identifying fake registrations, and registrations by Robot. If you are found subsequently to have provided false information, or changed to false/ficticious your account may be deleted immediately You further agree to provide at all times a valid email address, as without this you will not receive your activation email., you will also need it to obtain replacement passwords if you forget your current one, It will also be used for general administration emails and if you chose to be notified of personal messages or follow-ups to topics of interest. Failure to provide a valid email address , may result in account deletion without notice, If your registration is with an invalid email address the application will be deleted without further consideration. Registering with a 'USERNAME' or email address that appears 'SPAMMY' such as Viagra, PokerGuy Games-r-us etc will get rejected. If in doubt use a character name from one of the Feist books Please assume that if you did not get a registration email in 48 hours, that we have seen an email rejection and have deleted your registration request. Please then try again with a different email address Registration Approval is by Admin only First you register, then we will check the registration for validity and if acceptable activate the account, this will normally take 24 hours but during Holliday periods it could take 2 weeks, so please do not try registering again, unless you know for sure you made an error in your registration email (Though this can lead to a registration being identified as SPAM). Registration Email Address NOTE Occasionally we have trouble getting email through due to ISP's email policies Currently DO NOT try to REGISTER using email addresses from COMCAST, AOL, YAHOO, LIVE.COM they are blocking our legitimate EMAILS, COMPLAIN TO THEM Visiting the Forums You agree to visit the board within 7 days of activation, failure to do so will result in your account being deleted. This is an anti SPAM measure You agree that if you do not use your account for 1 months, it may at the discretion of the management be de-activated or deleted. If you plan to be away for a period of time send a Message to an Administrator or Moderator, and you account will not be deleted. Remember you do not have to post just Log In Posting You are required to post at least once within 7 days of your first visit, this may be just an introduction, failure to do so will result in your account being deleted. This is an anti SPAM measure The Forum language is English, so please refrain from using slang, as for many users English may be their second or third language, and misundertandings can easily happen. You agree Not to write Fan Fiction on the Board, defined in this instance as stories in any of the worlds, or relating to any of the characters created by Raymond E. Feist. Neither will you Link to Fan Fiction hosted elsewhere, nor make mention of other sites to encourage this action. You agree that Making copies of legal publications is a breach of copyright. Any evidence of Posting, asking for, or offering illegal material will mean an instant ban and may lead to the appropiate persons being notified. (remember illegal copies takes monies away from Mr Feist which may lead him to give up writing, then we will all be left not knowing what happened next. We run this site with Mr Feists knowledge, but he has the right to close us down.) You agree not to use pictures in your signature, either by direct insertion or linking. Nor shall you provide links which link to pages primarily for the purpose of selling books, i.e Amazon, BN etc. Signatures may be disabled if one is found. Usergroups Usergroups are in place to hide forums with potential spoilers to those not having read all the books. You will need to join the appropriate groups to gain access. Please note you will not be authorised for any Usergroup until you have complied with the Posting requirement above, see :- "You are required to post at least once within 7 days of your first visit, this may be just an introduction" Moderation and Monitoring You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit.
